IC : 52.  To achieve a quiet heart…  When a man has thus become calm, he may turn to the outside world. He no longer sees in it the struggle and tumult of individual beings, and therefore he has that true peace of mind which is needed for understanding the great laws of the universe and for acting in harmony with them. Whoever acts from these deep levels makes no mistakes.
Struggle, power, domination, the suffering of man…  is the  higher being removed from such realities…  choosing another reality, another world?
Can we achieve perfection – make no mistakes?  Utter not a syllable to be misunderstood, dismissed,  or find offense?
Quiet, stillness, nothingness comes from the deeper level.  Might one  find that silence, stillness, to be empty is that deeper calm to neutralize competition power and domination .
from self-restraint comes discernment

what say Yi about the unenlightened who feed on power over others

51 chen with no moving lines – first reaction – an odd response – thunder over thunder – fear. [With enlightenment comes awareness : Arousing] One uses anxiety and fear to regulate watchfulness. (Chris Lofting). In this context – yes use this jolt, this shock, a loud sound of thunder, noise on noise, but no where is the fire.  The strange condition is power given to the unenlightened, a very common thing, and the way of the world.  As always, use this situation to advantage – raise your spirit (Shen) – be  enlightened, be clear, be watchful.
